"Les Hirondelles" went on a one-week residency at Sonotron to record the wonderful music by Ahmed Radwan for his first EP album "REWAYA" at Unison Studios and 1535 Creative Hub. The group reunites many exceptional musicians featuring Michel Reis, Catherine Elsen, Boris Meichelbeck, Achal Murthy, Adham Raslan, Eduardo Ibargüengoytia Arias, Hy-Khang Dang and Ben Bley.

National Premiere at Luxembourg City Film Festival

Public screening at Luxembourg City Film Festival to showcase the most recent short movies « Made in/with Luxembourg » including national premiere of « THE LAST PAPER ». The short film was produced by Calach Films and directed by Romain Gierenz. The film score was composed by Hy-Khang Dang.

Lecture in tribute to « NGUYÊN THIÊN DAO »

 

A music conference at the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique et de Danse de Paris about traditional instruments in the abundant music of Nguyen Thiên Dao. Hy-Khang Dang presented his personal resarch project along with musicians from both fields of classical and traditional music to discuss about different aspects from eastern and western culture.

Premiere in Paris with « TRIO DANG »

 

After several attempts to schedule the premiere along these ever-changing restrictions, the trio managed to perform their very first concert ever. The brothers Hy-Huu and Hy-Khang Dang originally started to play together as a saxophone duo before they were joined by the pianist Toru Weber to perform perform as a newly inaugurated ensemble, currently based in Luxembourg.

World Premiere « PULSATIONS »

 

Recent world premiere of Hy-Khang Dang’s new composition for orchestra « PULSATIONS », commissioned by the Ministry of Culture. The piece has been performed as part of the concert cycle « Crossing Europe » by the Chamber Orchestra of Luxembourg and Marie Jacquot (conductor) at the Philharmonie Luxembourg on 1st March 2020.
